Hello, my name is Lorena Dennehy. I am the owner and primary caregiver at Superstars
Home Daycare. I am a resident and active participant in the Centreville and Fairfax County
community. One of the things I love about this area is close access to an abundance of
outdoor activities. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking, and pretty much anything outdoors. I
also enjoy watching and playing sports.
I became a homeowner in the Little Rocky Run Community of Centreville, VA in March of
2007. My daycare is State licensed and I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and have completed the state nutrition guidelines
training and state licensing orientation program. When I was 18, My first job was as an assistant in my aunts Home Daycare in Arlington. I opened Superstars Home Daycare in 2007 because I love working with children and because of the wonderful experiences I had working for my aunt. Upon doing my own extensive research I knew I could provide the highest quality child daycare available to the communities of Centreville and Fairfax.
In addition to my State Licensing, I am enrolled in child care college level courses in order to enhance the quality of service we provide and work toward my ultimate goal of owning and directing my own commercial Daycare Center. I have completed my Early Childhood Certification and have met the educational requirement to be a Director of a Commercial Daycare Facility in Virginia. I am continuing to work towards meeting the educational standards required to facilitate a Montessori school. Just a few of the college courses I have recently completed are:

My assistant, Elida, is amazing! We hold ourselves accountable to strict standards. We know you expect the very best for your children, and we do everything possible to exceed your expectations through a safe and clean learning environment, healthy food plan, planned events, and regular communication. We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in excellent care.
We would love to have you schedule a visit during business hours to see what we are all about and even talk to some of the parents as they drop off or pick up their child. Most of our children are referrals, second children, or even third children from parents who trust us because of the work we did with their first child. We hope to earn the same trust from you!
